Last March we produced a week-long citywide scavenger hunt in Seattle. The grand prize: a year's worth of free rent in a beautiful new apartment building in Belltown.
Unsurprisingly, the competition was fierce! The game became a combination of Midnight Madness and It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Hundreds of Seattlites tore through the city, searching for clues hidden in bars, restaurants, gyms, jazz club websites, and dockside oar houses. They took photos of their favorite pastimes, dance moves, and local haunts.
But when the dust settled, we had a winner: Vinson Doan.
Vinson is a local entrepreneur who's crepe shop is located a few blocks from the apartment. With the grand prize, he was able to move his family to the neighborhood. For the last few years, he has been commuting almost 2 hours each day to his shop... and now he lives around the corner!
We can't think of anyone who deserves it more. Congratulations Vinson!
