THE GAME, WITHOUT THE HOMEWORK

SOMEONE HAS A SECRET.
EVERYONE HAS A THEORY.

You don’t need to have watched a show or played Mafia. Here’s the idea.

01 / THE SECRET

Get your role.

Players join on their phones and privately discover their identity. Most are Town. A few are secretly Traitors.

02 / THE SUSPICION

Make your case.

The organizer leads the night and discussion phases. Players share theories, defend their stories and spot suspicious behavior.

03 / THE VERDICT

Cast your vote.

Nominate suspects and vote. Repeat until the Town finds every Traitor—or the Traitors take control.

A LITTLE PREP. A LOT TO TALK ABOUT.

YOU BRING THE TEAM.
WE BRING THE PLOT.

A different kind of break for your next in-person team gathering.

Pick your organizer

One teammate runs the host screen and sees the roles. They facilitate rather than play as a suspect.

Bring the basics

5–20 players, a phone browser for each player, a laptop or tablet for the organizer, and internet access.

Give the game room to unfold

Setup is straightforward; total play time depends on your group and discussion. This isn’t a five-minute icebreaker.

Want the organizer to play too? We can host. ↗

BEFORE YOU GATHER THE SUSPECTS

FAIR QUESTIONS.

Do we need to know The Traitors or Mafia?+

No. The basic idea is simple: some players have hidden identities and the group tries to uncover them. Try the sample round before gathering your team. The organizer should understand the full rules before a real game.

How quick is it?+

A full game includes several night, discussion and voting rounds. Play time depends on your group and how long you spend debating. Allow room in your agenda for a multi-round game; the organizer controls the pace.

Can the organizer play too?+

The organizer can see the roles and guides the game, so they don’t play as a regular suspect. If everyone wants to take part, choose a professionally hosted experience.

What happens after our two free games?+

You can stop there or purchase five additional self-hosted games for $20 USD. Each credit covers one game for the whole group, up to 20 players. A credit is used when the organizer assigns roles and starts; setting up or reopening a lobby uses no credits. There is no automatic charge or subscription.

Do all players need to sign up?+

Only the organizer creates an account. Players scan the game’s QR code, enter their name and join on their phone browser. No player app download is needed.

What do eliminated players do?+

They can keep watching as spectators, but they can no longer vote or take night actions. The organizer should explain that possibility before starting.
