In the new era of remote work, The Go Game is the leader in fun interactive video conferencing games and virtual happy hours for companies and communities around the globe. We’re a small business with big ambitions to change how people engage remotely.  And, we have recently transitioned to a completely remote workforce, looking to hire a global team of Game Hosts to join our remote team.

OVERVIEW

This position has you meeting diverse company teams online in our custom game platform, on a mission of utmost importance: bringing play to companies of all shapes and sizes from your own living room. You will produce and execute wildly entertaining, high-tech games for the poor, huddled, online masses; and sometimes they’ll give you a standing ovation because the game is that fun, and you're that awesome.

host mattThe position of Game Host is entirely responsible for executing outstanding Go Game Remote Team Building events. Game Hosts are accountable for executing fun, on-brand, memorable games, including creating some original content, product testing and QA, clients communication, and running events online. You will be part Julie McCoy, part McGyver and part Stephen Colbert. In other words, organized, resourceful and funny. In addition to event hosting, Game Hosts may be asked to contribute to certain aspects of daily business operations.

Qualifications 

  • Excellent at public speaking with a large personality 
  • Self-directed, a quick learner with a strong work ethic
  • Highly organized and professional; you dot your i’s and cross your t’s
  • A great communicator & collaborator
  • Tech-savvy
  • Have your own business and EIN

Bonus points if you have:

  • A passion for interactive games, corporate culture and team building
  • A love of pub trivia night

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule with full-time availability, including nights & weekends (schedule can be highly variable as the work is event-based; this is not a traditional “9-5”). You will be able to indicate your availability on our calendar. 
  • Fast, reliable internet connection 
  • Fast, reliable personal computer
  • Quiet, non-interrupted location to host games
  • Ability to host up to 4+ one-hour games per day

Compensation:

  • $50 per game -- where games are roughly 1 hour with an hour of prep time
