After watching thousands of teams create amazing short videos in The Go Game, we realized that players are a lot more creative than they think. Built upon years of experience with the Classic Go Game, we've come up with an absolute blockbuster of a team-building activity. You and your co-workers will be transformed into a powerhouse movie production unit -- with cinematographers, directors, actors, costume and sound designers, all collaborating to create short films that will blow your mind.
During the course of play, teams are given a movie genre (think 'Coming of Age,' 'Horror,' 'Mockumentary,' 'Romance,' etc.) and scripted prompts that keep the story going at a perfect pace. The magic comes where teams fill in the blanks of the storyline and the results are nothing short of genius -- believe us. Each group is issued an easy-to-use 'Flip' movie camera, a wireless device that delivers narrative prompts, costumes, props and an mp3 players full of perfect music. After a short tutorial on the gear, teams spend roughly two hours filming, or as we like to put it, getting in touch with their inner Steven Spielbergs and Johnny Depps.
The game ends in an all-out Academy Awards ceremony, hosted at an ending venue of your choice by one of our professional Emcees (Jerry Sienfeld is a little hard to book, though). During the ceremony, we screen the movies, inundate you with movie humor, eat, drink and vote for 'Best Director,' 'Best Actor' and 'Best Picture' and a host of other awards that recognize the myriad talents among your group.
With The Movie Game we've struck the perfect balance between an open-ended creative exercise and an executable script. If you think your department might not be creative enough for this activity, we might suggest that you are dead wrong.
Even the biggest movie buff in your office hasn't seen a romance movie quite like ours - where your CEO slow dances to Celine Dion or an action packed short film with car chases, shootouts, and insane villains - where you do your own stunts! Or how about a coming-of-age movie based on your bosses high school years? Scripts can also be customized to focus on your company's challenges or successes, maybe featuring an account you're trying to win, or a new product you're trying to push.
We supply all the AV gear. You supply the up-and-coming talent.

Within a few days, the creative photos and videos will be uploaded to a password-protected website that players will download, discuss, and revisit again and again. Memos and digital photos circulate throughout the office about that hilarious photo of Bob from the marketing department or the video of ‘How not to get a raise”. We’ve been told that photos taken during the game were blown up into office posters, that a certain pickup line has become the company’s new inside joke, and that the first place trophy still holds a place of honor on the boss’s desk two years later. But beyond this shared laughter and camaraderie, you’ll notice the development of a more creative and cohesive workforce. After a day of making collective decisions, seeing each other in new situations and displaying aspects of their personality that may not come out in the office, players form stronger bonds that translate back to the workplace. No matter your particular goals, expect a new appreciation for the company and its leaders. You’ll have given the gift of a fun, energetic, and interactive day outside of the office while simultaneously building a stronger team.
