How many people can participate?
We create and run games for groups of 10-1000. With advance booking, we can run games for up to 10,000 people.
How long does the game last?
We bill our game as a half day event, but we are flexible and will work within your needs. A typical game runs about 4-5 hours in the morning, afternoon, or evening.
Where does the game take place?
We can run a game anywhere there is cell phone coverage, from a big city to a resort paradise. We can also create games to be played on new devices, such as PDA's and smartphones. We’ll even set up a paper-based game if you’re out in the midst of the Amazonian jungle or just prefer to kick it old school.
What special gear is required?
We provide all the phones and cameras. Players should wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. The wearing of capes and sporty underwear on the "outside" will not be discouraged.
.
How will we know how to use the phones and cameras?
Before the game, all teams are given a tutorial on how to operate their Go Game gear. In addition, teams are each given a one-page instruction sheet with hints and tips on using the equipment. In the event of questions, everyone is provided with an emergency phone number that goes directly to the Pentagon (aka a helpful Go Game operative).
How do the phones send and receive missions?
All provided phones access the wireless web to send and receive missions. The process is simple to learn. Even the most technologically challenged players will have no trouble figuring out how to work the user-friendly devices.
Do all teams run the same course?
No. All teams will receive missions from the same pool of possible missions, but their order and number depend on various factors such as speed of completion and availability. However, a few missions are common to every course. Those are the creative missions you'll be judging at the end. All teams end up at the same location, where the fun continues with the judging portion of the game.
Can everyone play?
Yes. People of all levels of physical ability can play The Go Game. If a person is unable to walk or would prefer to remain stationary, we can write them into the game as one of our secret agents!
Are prizes provided?
The winning team receives a trophy, as well as glory, pride, and bragging rights throughout the office. We also provide gag gifts for the other top teams and even a little something for the last place team.
What is included in the cost of a game?
The price includes everything but the food and beverages during the final judging presentation. Some games also require a screen rental as well, but we provide all the other AV equipment for games under 200 players.
Can the game be customized?
Every game includes standard customization. We sprinkle personal and corporate trivia questions into the game, include themes and goals of your group, and add in creative missions that pertain to what the players do on a daily basis. Players leave feeling like the game was written just for them. Additional customization is also available if you’re interested!
