Answers To Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can participate?
We create and run games for groups of 10-150.

How long does the game last?
The course and judging typically lasts 4 to 5 hours.

Where does the game take place?
Custom courses can be created to take place anywhere in the country. We're constantly adding new cities to our pallette.

What special gear is required?
We provide all the phones and cameras. Players should wear comfortable clothes and good walking shoes. The wearing of capes and sporty underwear on the "outside" will not be discouraged.
.
How will we know how to use the phones and cameras?
Before the game, all teams are given a tutorial on how to operate their Go Game gear. Teams are also each given a one-page instruction sheet with hints and tips on using the equipment.

How do the phones send and receive missions?
We use phones that offer the wireless web, which is basically a mini web browser. The phones we use have large screens for easy legibility and are easy to use. You will not be placing calls on these phones. All information is automatically downloaded to the phone.

Do all teams run the same course?
No, but a few missions are common to every course. Those are the missions you'll be judging at the end. All teams end up at the same location, where the fun continues with the judging portion of the game.

Can everyone play?
Yes. People of all levels of physical ability can play The Go Game.

What does the winning team win?
For private games, the winning team receives a trophy and bragging rights, but each team is given some type of award or recognition.

How is the food/bar tab handled?
The cost of catering for the "Judging" portion isn't included in the price of the game. We can arrange for catering or a fixed menu.

Will I have to do anything embarrassing?
We consider all activities "challenge by choice," meaning we're not going to force you to do anything. You may be prodded out of your comfort zone a bit, however. Usually, what's uncomfortable for one teammate is a piece of cake for another. The team conquers all.
